A parked domain is an additional domain that points to your existing account, allowing visitors to view your website through an addtional domain name. For example if you have your main yoursite.com website on your account and you also register the yoursite.co.uk version, you can park the yoursite.co.uk to display the yoursite.com website.
To park a domain, first you need to login to your cPanel account and then follow this guide.
- Click on the 'Parked Domains' icon which can be found in the Domains section of your cPanel home screen.
- In the 'Create a New Parked Domain' field enter the domain you want to park.
- Click on the 'Add Domain' button.
Note: The domain you want to park must be registered with a valid registrar and configured to point to our DNS servers.
Once you have setup the parked domain, you may wish to add a redirecion so the domain updates automatically to your main domain. Go back to the list of parked domains and you'll see Manage Redirect, enter the primary domain for your website with a trailing slash / at the end.
